Guide

First-use guide

SOFBAC PASS stores logins, passwords, secure notes, and access information. Individuals can organize their accounts, while teams share selected records without sending passwords by email.

1

Install the Bitwarden/Vaultwarden browser extension.

2

Sign in using the server address https://vault.pass.sofbac.com.

3

Create the first item with a name, username, password, and website address.

4

Gradually replace reused passwords with unique passwords.

5

Enable 2FA and store the recovery code outside the vault.

6

For a business, create collections by department and assign users.

Reusing one password means a breach at one service may expose many accounts. PASS generates a different long password for each service, while you remember only the master password.
